A Rede Azul tem como missão apoiar a criação e a produção cultural regional, rentabilizando as infraestruturas existentes e reforçando a oferta artística no sul do país.

Pretende facilitar a criação, fidelização e formação de públicos, possibilitando a criação de condições para a edição de uma agenda cultural conjunta e a para a implementação de um modelo de gestão partilhado dos espaços culturais.

En mayo de 1991 nació la RED DE PROMOTORES CULTURALES DE LATINOAMÉRICA Y  EL CARIBE, conformada por 31 agrupaciones o productores independientes de 23 países de Latinoamérica y el Caribe. De este grupo hace parte REDLAT Colombia, que comenzó sus labores en 1993 y que ha sido miembro de los consejos directivos mundiales de IFACCA Network y la Red Internacional para la Diversidad Cultural. On June 23, 2012  an associative Head of Network has been elected by members: the “Association Etoile culturelle d’Akbou”. This organization is responsible for the coordination and the provision of services to the members, as well as, the organisation of the Network Common Action.

The objectives of the Association Etoile culturelle d’Akbou include the organization, participation, promotion of activities for youth development. Thanks to these practices, it ensures the inclusion of vulnerable young people, to support the reflection of how to live together and to promote the Amazigh culture, in particular to develop solidarity and altruism. [Information available on the organization’s website]

The UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) was created in 2004 to promote cooperation with and among cities that have identified creativity as a strategic factor for sustainable urban development. The 116 cities which currently make up this network work together towards a common objective: placing creativity and cultural industries at the heart of their development plans at the local level and cooperating actively at the international level.
